Happy Easter Everyone

‘It’s Easter morning, the family is coming, I’ve already put three hours in at the computer, so why I am I feeling frustrated, not joyful?’ That was the question I asked myself as I ran from one task to another. It was only when I stood still, really still, that the answer came to me. Once again, I’d expected the unachievable of myself. My timeline was unrealistic.

In the past, I would have kept going – timeline focused – and had family walk through the door with my head berating myself for the unfinished task. Thankfully, today, I’m taking a different approach, and the reason for that has come about in the most unexpected way. You see; to sell my book I needed to create a business name, and one popped to mind quite quickly – ‘The Time Is Write’ – I love a good pun. It’s also become my mantra since deciding ‘the time was right’ to suddenly leave my career after thirty years as it was no longer filling me with joy. With no alternative career in sight, it was and still is, a risky move, but it’s leading me to exciting and unexpected places. So, today, I’m deciding the time is right to be with family, to be in the sunshine, to enjoy looking after others – and who knows what else today will end up being the right time for! I hope you find a way to enjoy your day – I’d love to hear your story – hopefully you can add it in the comments.
